Pour célébrer son vingtième anniversaire, l'Ensemble Stanislas publie un coffret de trois disques réunissant une sélection des meilleurs enregistrements de concerts réalisés au cours des dix dernières années salle Poirel à Nancy.

Alors que, dans ses choix discographiques, l'Ensemble Stanislas privilégie en général un répertoire du vingtième siècle assez peu connu du grand public, ce coffret fait une large place au répertoire classique et romantique, sans négliger quelques œuvres plus rares, donnant ainsi un fidèle reflet des programmes  présentés au cours des dernières années par l'Ensemble Stanislas dans le cadre magnifique de la salle Poirel.      

Chaque disque du coffret  présente une configuration particulière de l'Ensemble Stanislas : le quatuor à cordes, l'association des cordes et des vents, le quintette à vents, ainsi que  la collaboration avec des solistes invités qui ont marqué l'existence du  groupe, comme Alexis Galpérine, Christian Ivaldi et Christophe Coin.

Ce coffret bénéficie d'une présentation particulièrement soignée, avec un livret de plus de cinquante pages présentant le riche parcours de l'Ensemble Stanislas depuis 1984, des notices musicologiques complètes sur les œuvres et de nombreuses illustrations.

On the occasion of their 20th anniversary, the Ensemble Stanislas presents a collection of three discs containing a selection of the best recordings of their concerts during the last ten  years in the Salle Poirel in Nancy.

Contrary to the  other recordings of the Ensemble Stanislas, which have a general tendency for little known works of the 20th century, this collection is turned towards a classical and romantic repertoire, without forgetting some rarer works, thus giving an accurate reflection of the programmes presented during the last few years by the Ensemble Stanislas in the magnificent setting of the Salle Poirel.

Each disc in the box presents different formations of the Ensemble Stanislas: the string quartet, the combination of strings and wind instruments, the wind quintet, as well as the contributions of invited soloists who have influenced the group over the years, such as Alexis Galpérine, Christian Ivaldi and Christophe Coin.

This box is produced with special care, containing a booklet of over 50 pages which presents the rich career of the Ensemble Stanislas since 1984, extensive musicology notes on the works and many illustrations.
